13. The Game of Serving One game that people may not see clearly is the game of serving others. If you are in a situation where you can be of service, but you start feeling as though you are in a “prison” of some kind, you may be moving your consciousness into the negative aspect of selfishness. Then you move into negative perception and perceive all things in a down consciousness. So, what was your opportunity to serve has become your burden to carry.

Let’s Dance As we look at being of service, let’s also look at the idea of contraction, which some call “taking,” versus the idea of expansion, which some call “giving.” There are certain things that involve both expanding and contracting, such as breathing and heart beats. Those two things are pretty essential, but sometimes we put a negative interpretation on the idea of contracting/taking, instead of seeing that it's a natural part of life to contract.

68. Children’s Workshop and Christmas Tree Trimming at Prana Prana is usually a quiet, meditative place. The work of MSIA goes on in the various offices as dedicated staff and devoted volunteers focus on the tasks at hand. But on December 6th the serenity of the Traveler’s home was totally disrupted – in a good way.
That was the day that MSIA families were invited to bring their children to a day of adventure and excitement at a Children's Workshop and Christmas Tree Trimming Party.

69. Creating & Using Your Money Magnet Have you ever wondered why misers have money? They hang on to it. We have a classic image of the miser as a little old man huddled up, holding his money close, counting his coins on the table, one after another, and checking them off on paper. A greedy person, all pinched in. I’m sure this image doesn’t fit many of the people who have a tremendous amount of money, but we can still ask, “Why do some people pull money to themselves while others don’t?”

71. Giving Thanks & Thanksgiving – An MSIA Celebration of Loving, Food, Light & Laughter Thanksgiving at Prana, MSIA's headquarters, was amazing as always. Best of all, John-Roger came and spent time with us. The house was full with J-R’s loving presence and energy. Add to that John Morton’s presence with us as well, and it really made for an exquisite abundance; the cornucopia, the cup running over. How blessed we are, with two Travelers among us!

99. The Unconscious I want to talk about the unconscious, and first I’ll start with a quick overview of the levels. You are, right now, on the physical level, the level of your physical body. The invisible levels above the physical are the astral (where we use our imaginations) and then the causal (relating to the emotions), the mental (the level I’m addressing in this article), and the etheric. The etheric is the great unconsciousness, and there’s also an unconscious inside of each person. In a sense of the word, they seem to function together. And the level above the etheric is the Soul.

Me, My Art and My Mentors A little under 10 years ago, on a warm Summer’s day in London, I knocked on the door of David Wynne, today’s greatest living sculptor and the man who would become my beloved friend, hero and mentor. This handsome, raffish, hugely successful sculptor, 50 years my senior, opened the door with the gentle delight and warm heartedness that I have come to know so well, and at once invited me to come in and look round his studio. An hour later, overwhelmed, I felt that I needn’t become a sculptor as David had made it all already. “Sam,” David said in that deep, serious tone that I have also come to know well, “there is nothing new under the Sun… but The Truth must be stated by each generation”.

Doesn’t matter because I’m sure glad I was there with about six hundred other beautiful Souls and Lord knows how many Angels.

Since the sun sets around 9:45pm, after loading the luggage, and getting on the bus and setting off towards Paris, we took advantage of the white nights, and found that it was still daylight when we arrived in Paris after an hour and a half drive from the airport.

156. La Gira por América del Sur de la película "Guerreros Espirituales" con Jsu García y los Viajeros. La gira por Sudamérica de Guerreros Espirituales comenzó con el trabajo diligente de Melba Alhonte y Ani Pacheco para que pudiéramos participar en el Festival de Cine de Cartagena, situada en la costa caribeña de Colombia. Una vez que la película Guerreros Espirituales fue aprobada, Melba y Zoe Golightly lideraron el proyecto durante un año, y antes de que nos diéramos cuenta más de 150 sudamericanos que pertenecen al MSIA llegaron a Cartagena para el Festival. Más de 40 norteamericanos del MSIA también acudieron. Fue una verdadera fiesta.

When "Spiritual Warriors" was accepted, Melba and Zoe Golightly spearheaded for a year, and before we knew it over 150 South Americans in MSIA arrived to Cartagena for the festival. Over 40 Americans from MSIA came as well. It was a party.

Easter on the Beach: Resurrecting through Grace with the Traveler It's about 6:25 am Easter Sunday and fellow minister Julie Lurie and I arrive at Santa Monica Beach to start setting up for MSIA's Easter morning at the beach. But the sun was out as we began our monthly Spiritual Spa Day at Peace Awareness Labyrinth and Gardens. Folks came from lots of places, maybe the sun would hold out at least until we walked the labyrinth in the afternoon. We gathered in the seminar room to begin the theme for the day --"Seek Ye First the Kingdom of Heaven"...and Goodness shall be yours on all levels. Wow, OK, I said to myself. Wouldn't I like to experience goodness here, there, and everywhere? You bet I would!

En mi caso, una vez más han convertido una reunión del MSIA en un seminario transformacional. Cuando llegué a Santa Monica, para la celebración de la Noche Buena, me sentía bastante mal humorado. 218. An MSIA Family Christmas Eve, 2007 I don't know how they do it. The Travelers I mean. Once again they have turned an MSIA gathering into a transformational seminar for me. When I arrived at the Christmas Eve celebration in Santa Monica I was pretty grumpy. My attitude could be summed up with the old saying “Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, guess I'll eat some worms.” Yet by the end of the evening all was right with the world and I had moved into the Christmas Spirit.

226. Giving and Forgiving It’s important to consider how the spirit of God touches us and makes itself known. There is a first step, and that is to be open, to reach out in our purity and innocence, to ask and to remember that God is listening and watching. The answer is in our midst, and if we’re denying or avoiding it, perhaps we’re allowed to play the fool for a while. Thank God we’re not allowed to be foolish forever. At some point something comes along even to the hardest of hearts, to the one who is most lost, most forsaken, and it still has mercy, it still has grace.
