Initiates Meeting at MSIA's Conference of Heartfelt Service Sunday, July 5, 2009 by Andree Leighton, photos by David Sand
All week, I’ve been seeing inside William Blake’s painting, “Jacob’s Ladder". A happy, happy feeling kept growing, leading my heart to today, our Sunday Song of Love Day together, with the MSIA Initiates Meeting. Alleluia! When 4:00pm arrived, Madhuri Marelli sang us into awareness of the Light and Sound together, and we chanted in preparation to participate with the Travelers. Phil Danza served as our ever-affable, loving host. John-Roger was with us spiritually, and John Morton was with us in the room, and blessed us with an Initiates’ Q&A. Given the sacred and confidential nature of the Initiates Meeting, there isn’t much to share in terms of content. John shared with us so many of the qualities of the Traveler and of Initiates: beauty, humor, loving, compassion, commitment, integrity, strength, fulfillment, and beyond. What’s present to share here is a sort of moving meditation of things that hearken to our nature as Initiates of the Traveler, in celebration and renewal. Let’s share in this joy together: From: Fulfilling the Spiritual Promise by John-Roger, DSS “To be an initiate of the Traveler is to devote yourself to the God within you, to Spirit, and to returning to your home, the Soul realm, from which you originally came before you incarnated onto this earth.” “Students in MSIA are initiated through the Mystical Traveler Consciousness into the Sound Current, the audible stream of energy that comes from the heart of God. The Sound Current is the basis of all life and is often called ‘the Word’ in the Bible.” From: Passage Into Spirit by John-Roger, DSS “Just as the Traveler resides in all levels, so is there a Christ Consciousness on each level. It is each person’s divine destiny to share that consciousness in awareness. Actually, you already do.
