John Morton joined us on March 18th for MSIA’s monthly Q&A at 2101 Wilshire in Santa Monica and live worldwide on the Internet. Master of Ceremonies Wayne Pepper opened the evening festivities, introducing his family, and explaining a little about the Internet broadcast. Wayne called in the Light, and we chanted the Ani-Hu (an ancient Sanskrit chant invoking God and empathy).

Wayne then introduced Rob Whitesides-Woo, a magical musician, who played one of his recent guitar compositions, Cloud Warrior, for which he received a standing ovation. How wonderful to have Rob playing music for us live!

Wayne then introduced John Morton. John appeared to be visibly moved, and acknowledged he felt vulnerable, soft, and tender, and that he was experiencing all of that deeply. He acknowledged Rob Woo for the beautiful music, and thanked Wayne for his introduction. John commented that earlier in the day, Dr. Paul Kaye (also known as Mr. Momentum) had spent some time interviewing Leigh Taylor-Young as one of the “elders” of MSIA. He asked LTY to stand up as an example of what “elders” in MSIA look like (radiant and young), and thanked her for the “darshan”.

John stated that one aspect moving him this evening was a vision that was both powerful and beautiful. Sharing about his e-mails on Peace, he acknowledged that these are powerful times, with national and international news and more taking place for all of us on the planet. He said there is something entirely magnificent about being in this world, and that clearly this is a time when what can be shaken will be shaken. He stated that he was aware of people crying out for solutions and understanding. John then described his vision and at this point it grew very quiet in the room.
He told us he was very aware of a beautiful presence, and he knew he was not just making it up, which did his heart good. It’s important to get along, to love one another. And he offered that the head of MSIA is Jesus the Christ, but that this is not news, and has been announced all along. That legacy is that we are to love one another. Regardless of what takes place outwardly, we do love one another, we are brothers and sisters, children of a loving God. John said, “I came to share that. I stand in a consciousness of Peace toward all. We hold that as a reality, we live that. There is a day coming when there will no longer be hurting.”
The first question came from the Internet, from Uzbekistan. The person writing in asked for hope for an end to the Iraqi crisis, and hope for saving lives. John acknowledged the message as a prayer for Light and Love.
Also from the Internet, from Bogotá, Colombia: “How can we support ourselves in balancing the negative and the positive in the world.” John offered that the planet is balanced, and the Law of Cause and Effect is fully operative. He mentioned the core teachings of MSIA, such as: Out of God comes all things; God loves ALL of Its creation; Not one Soul will be lost.
The next question was from a participant in the Ballroom asking whether there is something to learn from having a prior condition such as homosexuality? John reminded the person to acknowledge, experience, and love themselves, and to direct their action in life from the loving.
Next a question from a participant on the Internet: “How can I stop punishing myself when things don’t turn out the way I want them to?” John suggested they soften their approach and he hinted that you can’t punish someone if you don’t judge them.
A question from the Internet, from Sicily: “I am experiencing angry feelings ever since I left Venezuela. Is this due to the loss of a friend, or is it things that I have to work on?” John counseled the person to become clearer, more aligned with the True Nature, by breathing, and letting go of the breath, by letting the experience of the Soul reveal itself to them.
From France, a person asked: “How can I go past my experience of difficulty in overcoming hurts and resentments, so that I can find the loving?” John said that we are called upon to accept what has happened, and added not to grow the seeds of anger and resentment.

A young man stood up and said, “I am attending college in Washington State, and I am having a great time, but I feel something is missing.” John recommended that he notice every moment, the co-creatorship with God, that God is alive, and is not yet finished with us. He added, you are never given anything you can’t handle.
John closed the evening with a blessing for the planet, and all of God’s creation. Then Wayne Pepper came back up to invite those participants in the Ballroom to stay for refreshments and to thank the participants on the Internet for tuning in.
