The MSIA Australian Tour started on Wednesday, March 12, with an IIWP fundraising Blessings Brunch. There were 18 participants and 3 MSIA staff. We gathered in a room with a stupendous view on two sides, overlooking Sydney's blue bays, which delighted most participants. Me, I preferred the stupendous view INSIDE the room. The Blessings Brunch was AWEsome!
A large oval table, a relaxed atmosphere, a gorgeous variety of people, and Spirit. The food, company, and Blessings were delicious!! A feast for body, mind and Soul. I was expecting the event to end about 3-ish. To our absolute delight, John Morton continued until 5 p.m. I was flabbergasted!! Generous is one word for that! We are so very grateful. THANK YOU, John!!
Over the next few days people at the MSIA Conference were saying they'd heard how amazing and grace-filled a Blessings Brunch is, and was there one scheduled for next year? It was a seed for a new abundance and blessings in many ways in Australia and the world. That's how a friend described it to me, and that's how it was intended.

Erika Yeates & Brian Dickinson speak at the Insight event in Australia

The next events of the MSIA Australian Tour were just as joyous and beautiful. The organization of Insight Seminars in Australia has been restructured, so it once again is a close part of Insight worldwide. At Wednesday evening's event, this restructuring was announced to a room filled with pleased, supportive, and inquisitive people. Erika Yeates and Brian Dickinson presented the evening, and gave the information that there will be an Insight "The Awakening Heart" Seminar starting in Sydney from April 23 – 28, 2003. Several other people spoke about their involvement with Insight, and John Morton also shared about aspects of his Insight experiences. It touched a lot of hearts in the room, and there were many enrollments in the Insight 1 at the end of the event.

At midday on Thursday we gathered together for an MSIA, PTS and Seminar Leader Representatives meeting. John Morton was astoundingly generous with his time and his loving patience, and we acquired different perceptions and ways of making the Traveler's teachings available to those who are looking for them. And as you can see, we are a lovely bunch of Reps… or is it a flock? A gaggle??

Aussie beauties at the Social Event
|
| |
In the evening the social event definitely was a great success! The dining room of the American Club was filled with laughing, hugging people, and the air was filled with warm and welcoming sounds. The meal provided for us was spiced with Laughter, and sweetened with Joy.

We caught up with fellow Oz MSIA family members from Queensland, NSW, Victoria, and South Australia, and we delighted in each other's company. We renewed bonds and got better acquainted with our American loved ones. What an irresistible combination --food, family, and Friends. The American Club ROCKED. Bob Zapf, our 2003 tour coordinator, graciously organized music and a DJ to follow the repast, and this had the added advantage of invigorating our digestive systems.

On Friday and Saturday, John Morton facilitated the Coming Home workshop, which was attended by 105 Discourse subscribers. I was an assistant at the event and it was a great gift and an absolute pleasure to be part of the Assisting team. For two days we grew closer to Home, and shared this part of the journey with our family.

Sound angel, Geoff
|
| |
John Morton was brilliant, as usual, and his open, clear and gentle sharing of himself allowed us to hear and receive those things we needed. Vincent and Geoff were magnificent sound angels, and Angel and Cleora were two of the brightest "walking Light-bulbs" -- the four of them were a delight to behold. This workshop was experienced by many as bringing about a great sense of peace and freedom.
We celebrated the conclusion of the workshop by sharing a supper on Saturday evening, prior to the next event, which was a Discourse subscribers seminar. Yours truly was bestowed with the great honor of being MC for the evening, and with the gift of introducing John Morton to those present that evening.

When John began the Seminar, he spoke about more things than I can consciously remember. He also spoke about bringing a guest into our home, and how would that home be prepared to receive the guest? What is our home like? Is it cluttered with things that do not represent us, serve us? John spoke about what might be good ways of bringing clarity into our home, our life. He also touched on many, many more things -- too many for me to relate in this instance.

Sunday was the day of Ministers and Initiates meetings, preceded by two baby blessings and ministerial ordinations. We witnessed the beautiful and tender baby blessings, and rejoiced and welcomed the new ministers -- so infinitely touching!

Two Service Awards were given to these excellent and beloved ministers: Pauline Walsh and Gaethan Bonanno. We love them dearly, and give thanks for their presence on the planet.
John addressed the ministers and initiates, and answered questions. He stayed and shared with us to our hearts' content, and we are immensely grateful -- to him personally, and to "Him Up There", for want of better words.

The Tour ended with a lunch at which all were welcome, and that afternoon there was a blessing of the new Insight office. We were filled to the brim with Love and Light.

Time to go Home
|
| |
My experience of this Australian Tour was one of truly clarifying where I am heading -- and that is Home. There comes a time when we "stop fiddling with the radio in an attempt to further improve the reception; we simply relax and listen to the broadcast." And I, for one, am learning to amplify the love that is eternally present. And I know for certain that there is nothing else on this planet worth while, except THIS -- this Living Love. May we be blessed and bring forth Peace, Compassion, and Love.

When the key message I received was we're all ok, a gentle sense of Loving settled into my heart. A kind and peaceful energy held that loving message so clearly ringing through all of John Morton's sharings: to be ok with being just the way we are -- we are not broken. The sense of Coming Home, the nurturing, forgiveness and comfort revealed over the days reminded me of the true acceptance and love available for each of us, always.
Recently I have been aware of my heart truly opening for the first time, as I became more conscious of Loving and the beauty available when I am open to receive it. This new learning seemed to be constantly reinforced by John Morton during our days milling about the 15th floor meeting room of the American Club. Or is it now that I have the ears to hear the new level of Loving that it surrounds my every move? It seems to me that we do move, either towards or away from the Loving -- because it is always there, like a huge golden river flowing clear and strong all around us, neither waiting nor wanting.

Traveling with this river of loving is the river of peace; another state of simple being available to any who open and surrender to the simplicity of its Divine blessing. So when I found myself amid my fellow Light bearers and Soul seekers this past week at our annual conference Down Under, for the first time I felt that MSIA is not just a small community, but that we are all part of a universal movement of spiritual inner awareness that is pervading the planet from north to south, east to west, up and down, in and out. The Ministry of Light on the planet right now, to me, is stronger than ever. God bless us all, may we all open and trust the Divine Light in the heart of each man, woman and child to find its way Home.
